SUMMARY AND SUGGESTIONS

        1. Procedures of Practicum

      
The goal of participating in the Sea-Teacher program this time is to improve my teaching practicum skills, enhance my English communication skills, and learn about the cultural customs of another country. Additionally, it aims to increase the global integration capacity of students in the pedagogy field, as I have gained a lot of experience working in an international environment through this trip. During the month of participating in the Sea-Teacher program, I have grown significantly and become more confident. Furthermore, I have met many dedicated teachers and talented, kind friends. These are the greatest successes I achieved during the trip.

        2. Outcomes of Practicum
    On October 1st, I flew from Ho Chi Minh City to Jakarta and then from Jakarta to Semarang. On October 2nd, I had a meeting with the principal and teachers at the International Cooperation Office. The teachers organized an orientation session and provided us with the schedule for the month.

3. The Challenges of Practicum

         First, there are challenges related to culture and cuisine. Indonesia is a country where the majority of the population is Muslim, which is quite different from Vietnam, so initially, there were some customs that we could not adapt to right away. Next is the cuisine; each country has its own unique culinary characteristics that reflect its cultural identity. However, the food in Indonesia is generally spicier compared to Vietnam.

Regarding teaching, the main difficulty lies in the language and the duration of each lesson. In Vietnam, each lesson lasts about 35 minutes, while in Indonesia, lessons typically last from 60 to 70 minutes. This made it challenging for me to adjust and organize activities during the lessons appropriately.

4. Overall Impression
Overall, the Sea-Teacher program is a valuable and excellent opportunity for education students to learn, develop, and accumulate experience. The program provides students with a professional, structured, and beneficial practicum environment. Moreover, Sea-Teacher has created an opportunity that not all internship programs can offer: a multicultural environment where education students can not only enhance their professional skills and language abilities but also learn about the culture, customs, and culinary practices of other Southeast Asian countries. It fosters a healthy and enjoyable integration among students from different countries.

5. Suggestions for Future Improvement
The Sea-Teacher program is a professional initiative organized by SEAMEO. Throughout my participation, I have experienced many benefits that the program has provided for me. However, I hope that in the future, there will be more workshops for students to learn even more. Additionally, if the duration of the practicum could be extended, I believe it would give me more time to learn and gain insights from the culture and education of the country I visit.
